I have been employed in the educational setting for over twenty years. Currently, I serve as Calhoun Community College's webmaster and photographer. I have always been interested in design/layout and photography. In this position, I have been afforded the opportunity to mesh my skills and interests into the perfect job. I love shooting children and families. My favorite settings are outdoors. It's a hobby that has rolled over into my current position at Calhoun. If you've seen Calhoun's website or billboards, then you've seen some of my photography. I believe everyone should surround themselves with great family pictures and that they should be affordable.
Outside work, many of my pictures are of my own family and friends. I have also shot weddings and done some portraiture. I've created photo greeting cards and slideshows.
One of the most fun things I have done is photo manipulation. Everyone loves it. I've taken photos of friends and put their faces on celebrity bodies and made posters, buttons, websites and more. I've also taken snapshots and taken out the background and turned them into something really special. Have an old photo you need brought to life? I can help. Maybe you even have a photo that has been framed so long you don't want to remove it for fear of damage. I can work with you to make reprints by either scanning the image or taking another photo of the image while still in the frame. Also popular for birthday jokes and fun is to place the face of the party guy/girl onto someone else's body (great for prints or slideshow on CD) and add text. Maybe someone was missing from a family photo. If you have a suitable photo of that person, we can add them to the family picture. No copyrighted photos may be used.
